Spring Cleaning Optional Day

Ask Anna gave us an optional day of cleaning our plants yesterday (Tuesday). I was actually excited for this one since I do have a few real plants that needed to be tended to. But as usual having Spring Break leads to procrastination.

This is what I was doing yesterday instead of repotting my plants for most of the day. This is also one of the reasons why there is no post about food today. The other reason for that is that my husband has this week off and has done all the cooking then.

Isabel and I collect LEGO. Monday we bought a Log cabin (the one to the left with a pond and a little boat. Here we have a bus, bus station, house with yard and a little park, bike shop, pizza restaurant and grandpas tractor. There is also a fire helicopter. Back home in Norway we have another house and a hospital that used to be mine when I was a kid.

I did however dust off all my plants. I even threw one out since it was dead, but I managed to salvage some of it.

This plant I divided up and put in water to get new roots. That will make it a little more compact and make it look better. I am hoping the new leaves will grow from what is left of the old plant though.

There were also a few others that I didn’t get pictures of last night. I am still not done, but I am waiting for some nice weather so that I can do the potting and planting of new flowers outside instead of making a mess indoors.

Marriane, my YES Place friend. I'm so glad you found your way over to Abundant Life! :) It's good to "see" you. And I never even thought to clean those vents! You mean that's the reason they are so loud? ;) who knew. thanks for the great tip.
Be Blessed.
